اليوم العالمى للسلام 21 سبتمبر من كل عام وقد قال بانكى مون الامين العام للامم المتحدة ”أحث الجميع ، من الآن وحتى 21 أيلول/سبتمبر، على أن يفكروا في الكيفية التي يمكن لهم الإسهام من خلالها. دعونا نعمل جميعا لضمان أن يقودنا الطريق من ريو إلى تنمية مستدامة، وسلام مستدام … ومستقبل آمن للجميع.” وقد شاركت الجامعة البهائية فى الامم المتحدة ببيان فى هذا اليوم عام 2007
يحتفل به اليوم بمصر مجموعة رائعة من الشباب فى نشر ثقافة السلام وهم شباب جامعى مؤمن بفكرة اننا نعيش فى عالم واحد وقد شاركت فى هذا الاحتفال بمقال عن بوارق السلام العالمى واغنية الاحتفال

| In celebration of the International Day of Peace 2012 on September 21 Darb 1718, CISV Egypt, Masterpeace, WUPY and Culture of Peace are hosting:PEACE ONE DAY – CAIROA fun filled event at Darb 1718 supported by Bikya Bookcafe.
The event will feature:
